If you are new here, please take a minute to fill out a blue "Welcome card" which you will find in the pews.
Just place it in the collection plate, and indicate if you would like to be contacted, or if you would like to speak
with a member of the clergy. We would be happy to meet with you and answer any questions you may have.
Grace Church is an Episcopal Church in the heart of the Five College Region of Western Massachusetts.
The Rev. A. Robert Hirschfeld is the Rector. We are a congregation that draws from the town of Amherst
and the Pioneer Valley.
St. Irenaeus, an early bishop of the Church, famously said that “the glory of God is a human being fully alive.” We are a community of human beings doing their best to be fully alive. In our life together, in our participation in the sacraments of Baptism and Eucharist, in our efforts to respect the dignity of every human being and to seek and serve Jesus Christ in our neighbor and in ourselves, we find ourselves dwelling more deeply in the mystery of the Holy Trinity.
We hope that you will join us and find a home where you can discover the life of Christ that dwells within you and that needs community to find its full expression. Come worship with us. Join our choir or the Altar Guild. Help out with Sunday School. Join us in service at the Interfaith Cot Shelter, The Warming Place, or Not Bread Alone Soup Kitchen. Try knitting a prayer shawl, or grab a shovel and help us to plant our new gardens in the spring.
Browsing our Website is a place to start, but we look forward to seeing you in Church, at gatherings in the Parish Hall, or at coffee hour in the Connector.
