Pledge

The Stewardship Commission has mailed out the annual appeal for pledges in advance of the In-gathering on November 20, 2011. Bring your pledges forward at both Services on that day.

Our essential effort is to present Christian Stewardship as a spiritual practice in which we give to God the first fruits of our labors. We make the promise to contribute a share of our personal financial resources, our time and our talents to support our church and those persons and ministries that make it thrive. Supported by this community of faith we dare to believe in God's own generosity. Christ expressed this generosity as “a good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, (which) will be put into your lap..." (Luke 6: 38).

Did You Know . .

• In 2010 it will take $520,432 to open, heat, manage, and operate Grace Church?

• $440,000 of that money comes from about 200 pledges each year?

• Pledges come in all varieties, from $1 per week to over $1,000 per month?

• Every pledge is critical!   We are hoping for 225!!
  The Pledge drive continues through January, please pledge during the in-gathering on November 20 and permit us to determine our 2012 budget.
