The Restoration Project at Grace Church
The Restoration Project Prayer
O God, you brought forth the universe. Our lives and all our gifts are of your making. In your great love, you have named us as members of Christ's risen body, and you now call us to the revival and restoration of Grace Church. Inspire us to answer with joy. Let generosity mark our faith, and may we welcome in your name everyone who seeks your abundant and life-giving blessing; through Jesus Christ our Savior, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen.
Building the New Grace Church!
As we move into our new and renovated space we are aware of the powerful ministry and worship that is ours as the Body of Christ at Grace Church in Amherst. Our new spaces are helping us to be more accessible, open and welcoming, to provide better space for children and families and to have a deeper sense of aesthetic satisfaction and communal awareness.
If you are a Grace “regular,” we hope that you are sharing in the opportunities our new space is making possible. If you are here less often, we hope that you find our space and our ministry appealing and will want to come and find your own personal place in our church family.
But restoring our space is only part of the ongoing renewal of Grace Church. We continually seek to strengthen the mission and ministry that are so vital to the spiritual life and health of our people. We are always trying to be open to the ways that the Risen Christ is bringing new life into our midst.
As we move through the weeks of this Eastertide, join us in building the New Grace Church, regard-less of whether you are an inquirer, a new member, a long-time member or somewhere in between. God is calling us to move forward. There are still renovations of the building to be done. But, of far greater importance, there is our quest to answer the call of the Holy Spirit to serve and minister even more effectively.
How can you be part of the New Creation that Grace Church is becoming?
Join us for one of the special, one-hour workshops that will be held after the 8:00 and 10:30 service on April 18 and 25. These engaging, interactive sessions will provide an opportunity for us to discuss how we at Grace are being called to serve and make full and effective use of our new space.
Become more active in Grace Church’s life and mission. Find your own special place and ministry in the Body of the Risen Christ here in Amherst.

Collect of the Incarnation
O God, who wonderfully created, and yet more wonderfully restored, the dignity of human nature: Grant that we may share the divine life of him who humbled himself to share our humanity, your Son Jesus Christ; who lives and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
