Teenagers are growing into a new phase in their faith.  At Grace, we rejoice in and respect this growth process, and we accompany youth on their journey.

The youth program at Grace Church follows the Journey to Adulthood curriculum. The foundation of the program is the idea that manhood and womanhood are gifts from God, but adulthood is earned. We work with our church’s young people to think and pray about what it means to be a child of God, and what it means to be an adult. We do this through Bible study, evening programs, fellowship, and special events such as trips to Heifer International’s Overlook Farm and Washington D. C., movies, service projects, and more.

We are still in the beginning stages of the program, and thus currently offer only the Rite-13 part of the program. For the 2013-14 school year, the program was available for 7-8th graders. 5th and 6th graders have their very own Sunday morning program to prepare them to start Rite-13 in the fall of 2014! Any questions? Please feel free to contact us.

Part of the Journey to Adulthood program includes confirmation at the end of the program, around age 16. Because we are in the early stages of the program, we are currently not running any youth confirmation classes. However, if you have a young person who is interested in confirmation, please contact us.

The Living Water
Grace Church Summer Camp 2017

This summer Grace Church is putting on a summer camp entitled: “The Living Water.” Throughout this weeklong program we will delve into Biblical themes around water. How is Jesus the living water? What is the significance of Baptism? How is water a source of life and creation? This camp will be an opportunity for your child to learn the significance of living water for his/her life. We will use all of our senses to explore this theme, such as our voices to sing songs of praise, our hands to experiment and create, and our entire bodies as we explore the life force through our own valley, the Connecticut River. Here is some more information about the logistics for the camp:
