Upcoming Events At Grace

Our Interim’s email: If you wish to email the Rev. Denis Brunelle please note that the email for him at the office is: dbrunelle@gracechurchamherst.org

St. Nicholas Bazaar, Dec. 5: Your donations are needed! We need them as soon as possible, especially antiques and fine jewelry. Remember that items should be in good working condition and clean. We accept many kinds of items, but please NO textbooks, binders, clothing (scarves are ok), or mildewed items. Hold puzzles for next year, as we already have a very large number. Donations may be dropped off in the undercroft after the Sunday service, or during office hours (M-F, 9:30-4). Put them on or under the table inside the door from the walkway. Thank you! Any questions, contact Joan (jobrien82@gmail.com) or Sarah C. (snchadwick@verizon.net)

All announcements for the bulletin should be in the hands of our Parish administrator by Wednesday of the week you would like it in the bulletin. It will make the assembly of the bulletin easier for all involved in the process of putting this together. Thank you, Denis+

A note about the list of those requesting our prayers: We will be returning to the discipline of updating the list on a monthly basis. So as of November 1, all those presently on our list (see above) will be removed unless you notify the office by Tuesday, October 27.  Only those names our Administrator at the church office receives will be included. Of course you may at any time add to that list as things occur and prayer is needed.

Climate Action at Grace (CAAG): Today, Sunday, October 11, 12:30, in the Chapel.

The Grace Church Junior Choir will run on Sunday mornings from 9:15-10:15 a.m., followed by liturgical arts or nursery care. We encourage kids between 5 and 18 to join us for singing, games, and musical fun. Kids will perform once a month in a church service and at other local establishments. If you know anyone interested, please have them email arianneabela@gmail.com. Liturgical Arts will run from 10:15-12:00 p.m. and Nursery Care will run from 9:00-12:00 p.m.

Garden Ministry: The final event for the garden Ministry this season will be the fall clean-up on Saturday, October 24th.  We would love to have people join us for about 2 hours as we get the gardens ready for winter. Starting time is 9am. Thanks so much for all of the support his year to our ministry.
