This group combines meditation, practices integrated in the flow of life, and discussion. Next meeting, in the Connector: June 22, 2026.
Fourth Sunday, June 28
Grace Church’s 4th Sunday offering will go to the American Friends of the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem (AFEDJ) for its support of the Ahli Arab Hospital, one of the few hospitals still operating in Gaza and one of the only hospitals left in the region that continues to serve people regardless of ethnicity, religion, or ability to pay. Despite an unstable electrical grid and limited supplies of medications, its emergency department sees about 130 emergency and trauma cases every day, while the outpatient clinics treat approximately 100 patients. It’s also treating a growing number of patients with chronic diseases such as heart disease, kidney disease, etc because patients have been unable to access reliable and consistent medical care. . If you write a check, please make it payable to Grace Church and add “outreach” on the memo line. Thank you for any gift you are able to give.
Air Conditioning Plans
On Sunday June 28 after the 9:30 service in the Parish Hall
Vestry members will give an update concerning the Air Conditioning Project. All are encouraged to attend.
Haiti Ministry Uniform Fund
The Uniform Fund is so important! These uniforms, and the accompanying school supplies, help students at St. Matthieu be successful. In addition, they help the community-especially the locally sourced and made uniforms. Donations can be made today after the Sunday service, or as described below.
All contributions are appreciated, For each student, a uniform is $50 and supplies are $25. Other donations contribute to these amounts and help with potential cost increases. To donate: write a check to Grace Episcopal Church with “Haiti Ministry-uniforms” in the subject line; or go to the church website, click “give”, go to “Haiti Ministry” in the dropdown, and mention uniforms in the “note”. We will be in attendance at the coffee hours through Labor day, where we will be happy to meet you with more information. Mesi anpil!
Coffee Hour
The hospitality committee keeps a small supply of treats on hand but this often is not enough. Won’t you please be so kind as to donate a baked good for all to enjoy? Coffee cakes, quick breads, muffins, or bagels are always appreciated as well as other baked goods. Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness. Please see Sarah Chadwick if you have questions or want to help out further.
