Upcoming Events At Grace
We received the following email this week:
“Dear friends at Grace Church, My mother Jude Wobst let me know that the fourth Sunday collection at Grace Church was being directed to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. On behalf of my colleagues who serve this mission everyday in the US, as well as our partners who fight for the rights of children with cancer and other catastrophic diseases around the globe, I wanted to let you know how meaningful to know we have a community of support behind us. Thank you for participating in Children’s Cancer Awareness Month with us. All my best,”Natalia WobstSenior Regional Advisor – EURO RegionALSAC/St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital
St. Nicholas Bazaar, Dec. 5: Your donations are needed! We need them as soon as possible, especially antiques and fine jewelry. Remember that items should be in good working condition and clean. We accept many kinds of items, but please NO textbooks, binders, clothing (scarves are ok), or mildewed items. Hold puzzles for next year, as we already have a very large number. Donations may be dropped off in the undercroft after the Sunday service, or during office hours (M-F, 9:30-4). Put them on or under the table inside the door from the walkway. Thank you! Any questions, contact Joan (jobrien82@gmail.com) or Sarah C. (snchadwick@verizon.net)

Fall Bible Study: A Journey with Mark
Read the entire Gospel of Mark in fifty days! A Journey with Mark, edited by Marek Zabriskie, provides daily readings with a reflection and thoughtful questions by Episcopal leaders. John Horn will facilitate weekly discussions on Thursday mornings from 10:00-11:30 in the Grace Fireplace Room starting October 1. If interested, speak to John Horn, Sara Liberty-Laylin, or email hornjohn1@gmail.com.
Garden Ministry: The final event for the garden Ministry this season will be the fall clean-up on Saturday, October 24th. We would love to have people join us for about 2 hours as we get the gardens ready for winter. Starting time is 9am. Thanks so much for all of the support his year to our ministry.
